Now we are living in a world where it is becoming impossible to differentiate what is real, what is artificial and what is reel. Every day we receive countless videos and clips, and most of the time we cannot even identify whether it is a real video or an artificially created video. Recently I saw a video where the place was mentioned as UAE and drunken horses were shown creating havoc in the city and crashing on cars. It looked so convincing that everyone believed it was original. But if you apply a little logic, the first question is, are there so many horses there, and is such a situation even possible in a country like the UAE. Still, the mind gets confused, because the artificial has started looking more real than the real itself.
Today I am not even talking about fake news or fake dramas, because something else has become more surprising. Something called fake marriage is spreading at an unbelievable speed. People have started accepting fake over real as if it is the new normal. If someone wants to attend a wedding but there is no real wedding happening, they simply join a fake wedding. There will be a bride and groom, there will be fun events, Haldi and Mehndi, and all the functions with full enjoyment, music, dance, drinks and celebration. But once it is over, nothing remains. It was only a staged show. Still, everybody returns home happily because they enjoyed all the excitement of a wedding without anyone actually getting married.

Today nobody is interested in real marriage. Especially many girls feel that marriage is an unnecessary responsibility. They have created another level of life where they believe that marrying the self is enough to stay happy. These fake marriages are fully chargeable. The cost may even be less than the gifts expected in a traditional wedding. It is a paid function where you can demand whatever theme or experience you want. People want celebration, they want the wedding atmosphere, they want happiness for a few hours, but when the time for commitments arrives, they run away from it. The moment responsibilities and expectations come, people feel suffocated. They feel it is too heavy for this overloaded world.
There was a time when a man marrying many women was considered a fake marriage because the intention itself was not pure. Today the meaning has completely changed. A fake marriage now means you participate in all the rituals, but everything is imaginary, and there is no real bond behind it. Commitment has become a burden, and expectations are hardly fulfilled by anyone anymore.

I recently heard about people hiring actors to play family members during functions. Even parents can be rented for a day so that photographs look complete. Some people organise fake birthday parties for children where even the guests are paid performers. The idea is not to build relationships, but to show the world that life is perfect and entertaining. Reality has slowly shifted into a stage performance, where emotions are rented and memories are manufactured.
The world has reached a point where truth is losing its value. Artificial emotions, artificial celebrations and artificial realities are taking over our lives. If this continues, a day may come when human beings themselves forget what genuine connection feels like. Real relationships require trust, patience and responsibility, and that is exactly what many people are running away from. The question now is, how long can we survive in a world that prefers illusion over truth.
